Studio Policy

1. Engagement of Lessons

Lessons are delivered by Joseph Raso Vocal Coach on a scheduled basis by prior arrangement. Attendance at all agreed sessions is expected as part of the student’s training commitment.

2. Attendance and Punctuality

Students are required to attend lessons punctually and appropriately prepared. Lessons will commence and conclude at the scheduled times. Late arrival will not result in extension of lesson duration.

3. Cancellations and Absences

A minimum of 12 hours’ notice is required for the cancellation or rescheduling of lessons. Lessons cancelled within this notice period, or missed without notice, may be charged in full.

Catch-up lessons are permitted with adequate notice, as follows: one catch-up lesson per package of five lessons, and two catch-up lessons per package of ten lessons.

Catch-up lessons should generally be completed within the same package cycle. However, extensions into a subsequent cycle may be granted at the studio’s discretion. Exceptions to this policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

4. Fees and Payment

All lesson fees are payable in advance and in accordance with the agreed fee structure. Payment terms must be adhered to unless otherwise agreed in writing. Lesson Packages are non-refundable.

5. Student Preparation and Practice

Students are expected to undertake consistent and structured practice between lessons. Progress is contingent upon regular preparation and engagement with assigned material.

6. Conduct and Studio Environment

A professional, respectful, and disciplined learning environment is required at all times. Behaviour that disrupts the learning environment may result in termination of tuition.

 

7. Health and Fitness to Participate

Students should ensure they are fit to participate in vocal or piano instruction. Attendance while unwell in a manner that may affect performance or safety should be avoided.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in lessons, students acknowledge and agree to comply with the terms outlined in this Studio Policy.
