Humming done correctly is a great way to practice singing gently. We need to make sure we don’t grip the throat. Follow the light energy through as you open up the voice. Be focused as you transition, you are not adding any weight in the voice as you go from humming into singing a vowel. There is a misconception that loud and powerful singing is a very forceful sound but it is the complete opposite. It should feel relaxing, liberating, and enjoyable! 🕺🕺🕺
